- Relevance of the manuscript to the focus and scope of FLUENCY.
- Originality and significance of the research contribution.
- Clarity and appropriateness of the title and abstract.
- Adequacy and relevance of the introduction and literature review.
- Clarity and appropriateness of the research questions, objectives, and/or hypotheses.
- Appropriateness and rigor of the research methods, including participants, data sources, instruments, procedures, and data analysis.
- Clarity, accuracy, and adequacy of the research findings.
- Relevance and depth of the discussion in relation to theories and previous research.
- Consistency between the findings, conclusions, and research objectives.
- Relevance and quality of the references and compliance with APA 7th edition.
- Clarity and quality of academic English.
- Overall originality, scholarly contribution, and relevance to English language education.
Reviewers should provide clear, specific, and constructive comments that can help authors improve their manuscripts. Criticism should focus on the manuscript and should not contain personal, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate comments.
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all manuscripts and review materials. Manuscripts and unpublished information obtained during the review process must not be shared, discussed, or used for personal or professional purposes.
Reviewers should inform the editor immediately if they identify possible plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, citation manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct.
Reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest and should decline the assignment when such a conflict may affect the objectivity of their evaluation.
Reviewers are normally expected to complete their review within 2 to 3 weeks. If additional time is required, reviewers should inform the editorial team as soon as possible.
Reviewers may recommend:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
The reviewer's recommendation is advisory. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editorial team based on the reviewers' comments, the quality of the manuscript, and its contribution to English language education.
