Author Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be written entirely in English.
  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word on A4 paper, with approximately 5,000–8,000 words, using Cambria 11-point font and single spacing, according to the official FLUENCY manuscript template.
  • Manuscripts should follow the following structure: 

Title

The title should be clear, concise, and informative and should not exceed 17 words. Abbreviations should be avoided unless they are widely recognized.

Author Information

Author names should be written without academic degrees, followed by the authors' institutional affiliations. The corresponding author's email address and ORCID iD, where available, should be provided.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should contain approximately 200–250 words and briefly present the research background or problem, purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion or implications where appropriate. Authors should provide 3–5 keywords or key phrases.

Introduction

The Introduction should present the background and significance of the study, relevant literature, research gap or problem, and research objectives, questions, and/or hypotheses where appropriate.

Methods

The Methods section should clearly describe the research approach, design, participants or data sources, data collection procedures, instruments or materials, and data analysis techniques, as appropriate to the study. Sufficient information should be provided to demonstrate the rigor and appropriateness of the research.

Results and Discussion

The Results and Discussion section should present and interpret the findings clearly and systematically. The findings should address the research questions or objectives and be discussed in relation to relevant theories and previous research. Results and Discussion may be presented separately when appropriate.

Conclusion

The Conclusion should synthesize the main findings in relation to the research objectives or questions. It may include relevant implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research where appropriate.

References

All sources cited in the manuscript must be included in the reference list, and all references must be cited in the text. References must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition style and be arranged alphabetically. Authors should use relevant and current scholarly sources while citing seminal and foundational works where necessary.

  • Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all citations and references and ensuring that every source cited in the manuscript appears in the reference list.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the official FLUENCY Online Journal System (OJS) by creating an author account.
  • Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards, including ethical approval, institutional permission, and informed consent where applicable.
  • All authors must have made substantial contributions to the manuscript and must approve the final version before submission.
  • Authors must disclose any relevant conflict of interest.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are written in clear and appropriate academic English.
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will undergo the journal's double-blind peer review process.
  • The editor reserves the right to make necessary language, spelling, formatting, and grammatical corrections to accepted manuscripts while preserving their scholarly meaning.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted materials used in their manuscripts and for any legal consequences arising from unauthorized use of third-party materials.
