Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

FLUENCY does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, inappropriate authorship, or other forms of academic and research misconduct.

Submitted manuscripts may undergo plagiarism or similarity screening during the editorial process. A similarity score alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred. The editorial team will consider the nature, source, context, and extent of the similarity when assessing potential misconduct.

When serious ethical violations are identified, the journal may reject the manuscript or take appropriate post-publication action, including correction or retraction where necessary.

Research Ethics

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Where applicable, authors should obtain ethical approval, institutional permission, and informed consent.

Authors must take appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality, privacy, and rights of research participants, particularly when research involves students, teachers, minors, interviews, recordings, photographs, or identifiable personal information.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, personal, or institutional relationships that could influence the research, review, or editorial decision.

Individuals with a conflict of interest should not participate in the relevant review or editorial decision-making process.

Corrections and Retractions

FLUENCY is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of its published academic record. If a significant error is identified after publication, the journal may publish a correction or other appropriate notice.

If a published article is found to contain serious errors, plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, or other issues that substantially affect its reliability or integrity, the journal may retract the article.

Ethical concerns or complaints regarding submitted or published manuscripts should be reported to the FLUENCY editorial office with relevant information and supporting evidence where available.
