Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Digi-Meta undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process:

Editorial Screening

The editor-in-chief and section editors assess scope alignment, formatting compliance, and originality (via similarity/plagiarism check, threshold <20%).

Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise, blind to author identity.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on: originality and contribution to the field, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, relevance to journal scope, and quality of literature review and citations.

Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations, the editor issues one of: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Revision & Resubmission

Authors have [30/45] days to submit revisions with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments.

Appeals

Authors may appeal a rejection decision by submitting a written rebuttal to the editor-in-chief, who may consult an additional reviewer.

Average time from submission to first decision: 6–10 weeks.
