INTEGRITY: Journal of Public Policy and Governance Studies is published by Pemuda Berintegritas Indonesia, a think tank and youth empowerment organization. This journal aims to disseminate original manuscripts and/or reviews accompanied by critical analyses from researchers (academics and practitioners) on policy and governance issues at the local to international levels. All manuscripts published in this journal have undergone a peer-review process. JPPGS is committed to providing high-quality studies for academics, practitioners, students, and the general public to help them understand the complexities and dynamics of public policy and governance in an ever-changing world. Manuscripts are published in English or Indonesian in June and December (twice a year). JPPGS invites researchers, academics, practitioners, students, and the general public to submit their critical writings. There are no fees charged to authors (free of charge).

Volume 1, Number 1 (2026) is the inaugural issue of INTEGRITY: Journal of Public Policy and Governance Studies, featuring five scholarly articles based on research in the fields of public policy, governance, public administration, rural development, public health, and sustainable development. The articles in this issue were written by students and academics from various universities in Indonesia, presenting diverse perspectives and empirical findings on the challenges and innovations in governance and development. The Editorial Board would like to express its appreciation to all authors, peer reviewers, and readers for their contributions and support, which made the publication of this inaugural issue possible. We hope this publication will serve as a useful scholarly reference and encourage the development of research and better practices in public policy and governance.
