INTEGRITY: Journal of Public Policy and Governance Studies is published by Pemuda Berintegritas Indonesia. This journal aims to disseminate original manuscripts and/or reviews, accompanied by critical analyses from researchers (academics and practitioners), on policy and governance issues ranging from the local to the international level. All articles published in this journal have undergone a peer-review process. INTEGRITY is committed to providing high-quality studies for academics, practitioners, students, and the general public to help them understand the complexities and dynamics of public policy and governance in an ever-changing world. Articles are published in English or Indonesian in June and December (twice a year). INTEGRITY invites researchers, academics, practitioners, students, and the general public to submit their critical writings.

Volume 1, Number 1 (2026) is the inaugural issue of the Journal of Public Policy and Governance Studies, featuring five scholarly articles based on research in the fields of public policy, governance, public administration, rural development, public health, and sustainable development. Students and academics from various universities in Indonesia wrote the articles, offering diverse perspectives and empirical findings on the challenges and innovations in governance and development. The Editorial Board thanks all authors, peer reviewers, and readers for their contributions and support, which made this inaugural issue possible. We hope this publication will serve as a useful scholarly reference and encourage research and better practices in public policy and governance.
